When I worked with Christopher Reeve

I worked with Christopher Reeve for 8 years as his road manager and traveled all over the world with him. One of our trips was to Australlia where he did a number of speeches and met with people.

While there every morning I met with the Premier's Department in New South Wales where we met to plan the day. Then it was full speed ahead getting Chris to where he needed to be when he needed to be there.

Michael Walter Harkins MVO was the head of protocol at the time and later sent me this wonderful  testimonial. It sends a chill up and down my spine every time I read it.

Mr. Harkins had an incredible sense of organization when it came to properly handling any protocol issues. I learned a lot from him and have the deepest respect for this man and his team for all they did to make Christopher Reeve, one of the nicest men I have ever met, comfortable despite his paralysis.
